Dear Co-x3 Family,

This week, we share about chaos – how can we navigate it and find order?

It’s been a fantastic week for our community – here are some highlights:

Ever since we started the Co-x3 Family in January, community has slowly become the answer to everything in my life. There are so many joys that I experience because of the fact that we have such a loving and vibrant family. The joy of knowing you can join any meeting room throughout the day, and talk to someone who has the same mindsets. The joy of knowing that if you ever want to open up about a problem you are experiencing, someone will listen and give you actionable advice. The joy of knowing that if you want to build a system to solve a problem, thousands of people will support your vision and explore how to tackle it together.

This is what has been accomplished in our Co-x3 Family, and what I hope to share with the world with our latest initiative, family without borders. Because together, we have reinvented what the word family means. We’ll be updating our documented story of how we got here with next week’s updates. Stay tuned for that. Most importantly, please write in to share with us how we can be clearer in how we deliver value to you. Quality answers in the short survey below will win a private 30-min session with Conrad!

We have a massive update to our templates scheduled this coming Friday. We initially planned to release this last week, but we had so many last-minute feature improvements and entries that we just had to include to share with you all. This coming update will be very exciting for lifelong learners, as it will include special features for students, your very own knowledge factory, and a brand new concept – the convenience store. We’ll be explaining all these new functionalities in our upcoming live stream, so set your reminders and tune in!

For those who joined our humble community in search of the student templates we built together on our latest live stream (Building Gamification Into Notion For Students), this will be fully released and offered to you on Friday. We also have a very special announcement – for everybody who made a one-time purchase for our templates on gumroad, you will get a special benefit to upgrade to the latest version of the templates for FREE (normally a patron-exclusive benefit).

We’ve also been working really hard on finetuning our messaging and resources to help you navigate our templates and make the best use of them. Our goal has always been to empower you with the right tools to take action on your learning, so we are always upgrading the way we communicate to ensure that you get all the power that you need. We believe that come Friday, there should be much more clarity on how each template works and how they connect with each other.

It’s the start of the last quarter of 2020, and we have grown so much. I spend a lot of time and attention to create meaningful content, nurture and engage members, as well as create meaningful spaces for intelligent discussions. I’m so glad to have leaders in our community who wish to help on this journey, from our wonderful leaders to our moderation team. This quarter, I’d like to formally welcome Ann and Dean to our team.

Brian, Ashish, and Elisa warmed our hearts this week when they shared their ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ review about our family. Sunday Catchup: Co-x3 Weekly Council Meeting #26 (2020-Oct-4)

This week, we talked about how to appreciate works of art for what it represents, while being mindful of what subliminal messages could be possibly lurking due to what the creator may represent. Another important message shared was how to deal with fixed mindset people around you, especially family, and learn to appreciate them for the advice that they give that is relevant and meaningful.

Life is a constant balancing act between order and chaos. What does it take to learn and accomplish as much as we can, as fast as we can?

Article: Make Learning Fun With Gamification For Students πŸ§™β€β™‚οΈ

Throughout my primary and secondary education, I had a strange relationship with studying. Many of my fellow students constantly glorified the notion of spending minimal time and effort on their studiesβ€Š-β€Šand the cool kids were those who could display an image of ‘natural genius’β€Š-β€Šgetting good grades without significant effort.

Constant learning is an important part of your growth journey, and we try to read as much as we can to learn as fast as we can. Every week, we’ll share key insights from the best pieces of content we digest.

Value Bomb: “If something’s worth doing, it’s worth doing badly.” – G.K. Chesterton

  • If perfection is stopping you from starting on your dreams, aim for doing just one.
  • One of something is better than none of something. (eg. Doing one pushup a day is better than doing none.)
  • Once you start, then aim to do as much as you can.

Let’s get highly motivated to personally develop ourselves, develop accountability, and collaborate to bring positive social impacts to our local and global communities.
